DO YOU MOVE ENOUGH?

We should all be moving for at least 20 minutes every day, but do you manage to do that?

I don’t, even though I want to, but apparently, the necessity isn’t there yet. Do you recognize that feeling? Even though I really do feel better when I’ve exercised. But maybe we’re putting too much pressure on ourselves, which holds us back since we already have so many demands on ourselves.

I’m busier in my head than physically, that’s a fact. But how can I change this lovingly?

As you may already know, I am a sports enthusiast, and yes, I also face resistance. But I also notice that if I don’t exercise for too long, my mood deteriorates, and I miss pushing my limits (because I love doing that with sports). So why can’t I keep it up?

I try again every time, and I think that’s the biggest pitfall, setting the bar too high and realizing that it doesn’t work, so the result is not doing it at all.

So, I’m going to lovingly look at what is realistic and start with that. Exercising three times a week should be doable, and it doesn’t matter what I do. It can be running, going to the gym, and/or yoga. Or just doing all three once a week and then see how much energy I get from it. Any extra days or hours are a bonus.

I’ll keep you updated on how this goes, and I’m also very curious about your experiences!
